Two days after the passing of the late Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, Nollywood actress, Chioma Akpota has finally broken her silence.

Celebrity Naija Rav reported that Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, the Founder/Chief Executive Officer, Africa Movies Academy Awards (AMAA) passed away at the St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos after a brief illness on Monday, 9th January.

Joining her colleagues in the industry to mourn the passing of an icon, Chioma revealed that she struggled to believe that the deceased is no more. Revealing her innermost pain, she noted that she regrets not following up on their last conversation.

She wrote: “For 2 days I have struggled to believe you aren’t here with us anymore
I still do not have the right words Peace. I will forever regret not following up on our last conversation. No more pain Peace! No more Fears and worries. Just sitting pretty at the feet of the Master with your beautiful crown. Rest in Peace my Dear PEACE ANYIAM OSIGWE”.

Celebrity Naija Rave reported that Ayo Makun better known as Ay comedian also reacted to the death of Peace Anyiam-Osigwe.

Reacting to her passing, AY said Peace was an inspiration to the entertainment industry who was always willing to help. He noted that he would miss her professional advice.

He wrote: Only a woman of substance and integrity brings out everyone that I am seeing talking about you today on social media and different platforms.
I can’t explain how much I’d really miss all her professional advice. Peace Anyiam Osigwe was an inspiration to the whole industry. She was full of faith, courage, and strength. Always willing to help. Everything she asked me to do about Almajiri started falling in place from last year. We wish you farewell in your journey to eternity. You’d never be forgotten, rest in peace, PEACE ( Founder AMAA Awards)

Reacting to Peace’s death, ROK TV boss and actress, Mary Remmy Njoku talked about how short human life is and noted that is promised except death. She added that said the essence of life if to create something that won’t die.

Taking a cue from the life achievements of Peace, the mother of three noted that she will be celebrated for her impacts and further prayed for her soul to rest in peace.

She wrote: Life is short. VERY short. The problem is we think we have time. We don’t. Nothing in life is promised except DEATH. We all die. So the goal is to create something that wouldn’t. And you did. You will be celebrated. Rest in PEACE.
